Norwegian OSCE parliamentarians
Last updated: 19/08/2011 //
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) was established in 1991 and consists of 320 parliamentarians from the 56 participant states. Its three committees are structured along the three OSCE dimensions: Politico-military, Economic-environmental and Human.
The OSCE PA meets for an annual plenary session every summer. The result of this plenary is a statement consisting of resolutions and recommendations. More regular meetings are also held.
The Norwegian Parliamentary Delegation to the OSCE PA is elected for a four-year period after each parliamentary election. The Delegation consists of six representatives and six deputies. This is the list of representatives and alternates for the period 2009-2013.
